How a YOS journey flows

Learn. Shoot. Review. Premiere.

No experience needed. Every day starts with theory for what we will shoot, then practice in real places. Each skill builds on the one before.

  1. 01 · Learn

    Learn

A short, practical session before heading out. One technique and one clear goal for the day.

  2. 02 · Shoot

    Shoot

Daylight practice in real places: streets, markets, coast and mountains, with your instructor beside you.

  3. 03 · Review

    Review

Back at the accommodation or on a quiet terrace, we look at the day's work together and give feedback.

  4. 04 · Premiere

    Premiere

On the last day we screen everyone's work together. You leave with finished work and a community that keeps creating.

Why travel with YOS?

Learn something real, with people who share the passion

Small groups

Fewer people means more time with your instructor, easier access to places and a group that becomes a community.

Learning by doing

Every lesson is put into practice the same day, in real travel situations. You leave with finished work, not just notes.

Carefully organised

Accommodation, meals during the programme and logistics are planned for you, with clear information before you book.

Our first destination

Why Morocco

Atlantic coastline, mountain villages, busy medinas and quiet riads, all within one country. The light is generous and everyday life is rich in colour, craft and texture. It is a place that rewards people who look closely.

We travel with respect. We ask before photographing people, work with local hosts and specialists, and follow the customs of the places we visit.

No. You can join with a professional camera or a high-end smartphone. You will also need a laptop with editing software. We will publish a suggested packing list for each departure.
Are the courses suitable for beginners?
Yes. No previous experience is needed for any YOS course. Each day starts with a theory session that prepares what we will do, followed by practice in real places.
What is the premiere?
On the last day of every journey we screen the work each participant created during the week, together as a group. It is a celebration of what you made and a chance to share it.
